The Continuing Education Plan

The Continuing Education Plan (CEP) supports military-connected
students by ensuring a smooth academic transition from one school to the next. This project will support the military caregiver's ability to advocate for their student's academic success and support the student's continuity of education.
The CEP is a critical resource designed to identify a student's current skill progression, outline next steps of instruction for classroom teachers, and promote timely academic success for military-connected students, prekindergarten through fifth grade.
Warriors Outreach Team
-
The Warriors Outreach Team (WOT) operates as a peer-based initiative dedicated to military, veterans, first responders, and their families. WOT peers are specifically trained to recognize and respond to trauma and post-traumatic stress. Trained peer specialists meet warriors where they are—physically and emotionally. These specialists understand because many have walked similar paths and received specialized evidence-backed training in trauma recognition and PTS response.
By partnering and guiding individuals and their families through intricate and complex care systems, WOT ensures they receive the most appropriate care and resources, while minimizing the risks and barriers that often lead to drop-out. WOT builds meaningful events and experiences that rebuild the tribal connections often lost after service. These activities combat isolation that can lead to crisis, creating sustainable support networks among those who understand.
