Through Fiscal Sponsorship, Veterans Collaborative extends its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status to charitable efforts that align with our mission. Veterans Collaborative empowers these projects with immediate nonprofit status for fundraising, financial reporting, compliance, and human resources support, as well as management and operational guidance, allowing them to concentrate on their essential mission— serving those who have served us.

Brothers

  • Brothers is an unprecedented documentary exploring the unique brotherhood of Army rugby players, and the essence of service, commitment, and grit our soldiers and veterans embody on and off the field.

    By showcasing the diverse aspects of military life, this documentary has the potential to resonate with individuals who have served and those who continue to serve, while also inspiring a new generation to join their ranks. It is a testament to the resilience and strength that define the military community.

Adventures in Leadership

  • Adventures in Leadership is an innovative outdoor experiential program designed for kids and families. This unique initiative combines challenging outdoor activities with cutting-edge technology to foster essential leadership skills and personal growth.

    The primary goal of Adventures in Leadership is to build the leaders of tomorrow by providing a unique blend of hands-on outdoor experiences, team-based challenges, exposure to diverse cultures and environments, and integration of modern technology in problem-solving.

Adventure 72

  • Adventure 72, empowered by Veterans Collaborative, is a transformative program designed to support the mental wellness of veterans through immersive nature experiences. Backed by research demonstrating the benefits of nature and outdoor activities, the program focuses on spending a minimum of 72 hours in nature to help rewire the brain, reduce symptoms of PTS, and promote overall mental health.

    Program Objectives:

    1. To highlight how communities can come together to serve Veterans.

    2. To promote mental wellness through nature-based activities.

    3. To foster a sense of community and support among participating Veterans.

    4. To provide Veterans with tools and experiences that can be integrated into their daily lives for ongoing mental health benefits.

Hunt Family Foundation

  • The mission of Hunt Family Foundation is rooted in the belief that every individual who has served their country deserves access to essential resources, support, and opportunities. Through strategic partnerships and targeted initiatives, the foundation aims to empower veterans and their families, ensuring they receive the recognition, assistance, and care they rightfully deserve.

The Taylor Foundation

  • The Taylor Foundation exists to raise money and awareness for local organizations that help treat or uplift members of the military and emergency service personnel who are dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, otherwise known as PTSD.

    By collaborating with local and regional nonprofits, TTF seeks to build a network of assistance for all veterans and first responders who may be experiencing or have experienced PTSD so that they may find the community and support they need to overcome these challenges in their own communities.

Veteran Reality

  • Veterans Collaborative is partnering with interdisciplinary partners including NGOs, mental health providers, Veterans, and service organizations to build a comprehensive interactive Virtual Reality experience that elevates on-demand mental health resources for Veterans.

Ashes to Honor

  • The mission of Ashes to Honor is to meticulously reconstruct military service records lost in the tragic fire of 1973 at the National Personnel Records Center. Our aim is to restore the legacies of forgotten heroes and rectify the profound injustice faced by veterans whose records have been lost.

    Our mission requires a dedicated team committed to restoring honor to those unjustly forgotten. With more hands-on original documents, our chances of success multiply. Together, we will ensure that no veteran is left behind, no story goes untold, and no funeral lacks the dignity of full military honors.

Academy X

  • Academy X is a Veteran-led STEM program connecting students in underserved schools to Tier 1 universities nationwide.

    Academy X enables access to national STEM programs led by Veterans passionate about making a difference in underserved communities. Students will know they are supported and capable to be all that they can be.

Coach Mahan Legacy Fund

  • To honor and commemorate the indelible impact Coach Mike Mahan had on the Army Rugby program and players, The Army Rugby Team and the Army Rugby Advisory Committee (ARAC) are commissioning a stunning bust of Coach Mahan to be sculpted by renowned artist, Jim Nance. This bust will rest permanently in the Anderson Rugby Complex at West Point for all to see for generations to come. 

The Continuing Education Plan

  • The Continuing Education Plan (CEP) supports military-connected
    students by ensuring a smooth academic transition from one school to the next.  This project will support the military caregiver's ability to advocate for their student's academic success and support the student's continuity of education.

    The CEP is a critical resource designed to identify a student's current skill progression, outline next steps of instruction for classroom teachers, and promote timely academic success for military-connected students, prekindergarten through fifth grade.

US-Ukraine Veterans Bridge Educational Fund

  • The US-Ukraine Veteran Bridge unites experts from the veteran community, academia, business, healthcare, labor, and others in the shared vision of building a better today and tomorrow for Ukrainian veterans, families, and survivors. The Bridge connects Ukrainian and American veterans – through bonds of service and sacrifice – via knowledge-sharing, cultural exchange, and the encouragement of bilateral cooperation.

ProtectED

  • ProtectED is led by Veterans and is a charitable project that incorporates bulletproof shelving units as part of school gun violence prevention. The bookshelves act as functional storage, physical barricade, ballistic barrier, and psychological deterrent against violence. Donations to ProtectED are used to provide free bookshelves to schools.

Forward March

  • Forward March is a good news documentary and virtual listener and educational teleplay that captures interactive stories presented by Veterans and civilians. These stories are uplifting presentations showing positive outcomes for Veterans and our military, as well as doctors, first responders, and civilian service agencies.
