The Continuing Education Plan
Supporting military-connected educators, parents, and children with the tools they need to thrive.
Overview
The mission of the Continuing Education Plan is to ensure seamless educational continuity for military children from prekindergarten through fifth grade.
Our program provides a comprehensive skill checklist that identifies content mastery, proficiency, skills in progress, and untaught content. By addressing the unique challenges faced by military families, we aim to bridge gaps in existing educational programs, prioritize sequential skill progression, and prevent fragmented learning foundations.
Our goal is to enhance future learning opportunities and set military-connected children on a path to academic success.
How It Works
We collaborate with schools to empower teachers with the tools and resources necessary to track and support the skill progression of military-connected students. By providing clear instructional roadmaps, we help classroom teachers guide their military students toward timely academic success.
Focused on educators of miliary students from prekindergarten through fifth grade, our program includes stipends for teachers dedicated to advancing education for military-connected children, ensuring the support and recognition they deserve.
Our Vision
Our vision is to address the 4-6 months of learning loss often experienced by military children, creating an environment where academic anxiety and stress are minimized, and leadership opportunities flourish.
We will ensure that every military child enjoys seamless educational transitions, regardless of their geographic location or circumstances.
Join Us
Together, we’re creating a future where every military-connected child receives the support they deserve, no matter where their family’s service to our Nation takes them.
