VETCheck
What is VETCheck?
VETCheck is a simplified vetting process of organizations that could possibly be grant recipients from Veterans Collaborative’s Fund(s), Partners, and donors. The process includes reviewing an organization’s mission, programs, and compliance. This process allows us to identify and recommend organizations to our Partners.
What is the purpose of VETCheck?
Through our VETCheck Program, we provide insight into organizations doing great work for Veteran and military communities. We share these organizations with our Partners, giving them confidence knowing that their giving will make a difference.
Our focus on local organizations increases the impact of your giving and expands the footprint and reach of hundreds of organizations serving our Veteran and military connected communities. By providing better access and removing barriers for these organizations, we elevate your military and Veteran-focused giving to the next level.
Who is VETCheck for?
VETCheck is for organizations that Veteran Collaborative believes will receive multiple grants from us and our Partners. We aim to find and vet organizations that have a focus and mission that align with one of Our Funds serving the Veterans and Military Community. These strategic giving funds are: 1) Health and Wellness 2) Family Services and 3) Transition and Financial Wellness. Furthermore, VETCheck will only be undertaken on 501(c)(3) organizations (including fiscal sponsors on behalf of a non-501(c)(3) organization). If you meet the above criteria and believe your organization qualifies for VETCheck, Contact Us and ask for more information about VETCheck.
What if my nonprofit is not aligned with one of Veterans Collaborative’s Funds?
We still want to know about the work you are engaging in for Veteran and Military communities, and would love to learn more about your organization. Please connect with us via VC Radar and tell us about the great work you are doing in your community. We will review your information and do the hard lifting to share these vital services and resources with our network.
